“In recognizing the humanity of our fellow beings, we pay ourselves the highest tribute.”

Thurgood Marshall

Recognizing humanity? is it too deep a philosophy? It simply means that recognize other beings that they are also humans and deserve equal rights, respect, and liberty. Black history unfortunately shows the lack of it. They were mistreated, tortured, slaved, and killed are still fighting the racism that spreads in the roots of many cultures like a disease. Their comeback and shattering of the chains of oppression is the inspiration for all to stand against in the face of injustice.

As the Great Martin Luther King, Jr. said

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere”

Now African American has done things for America that no one ever dreamt of or dared so.

Conclusion

It’s important for us to also understand that the phrase ‘Black Lives Matter’ simply refers to the notion that there’s a specific vulnerability for African Americans that needs to be addressed. It’s not meant to suggest that other lives don’t matter. It’s to suggest that other folks aren’t experiencing this particular vulnerability. Barak Obama
History is a weird thing. You cannot get rid of it. You are part of it. You have to learn from it. You cannot escape it. Above all, every action of yours could make difference in the world if you are determined enough. This is what I would suggest learning from Black history and take inspiration from it. History should never be forgotten those who made the right steps during it should be remembered and those who were misguided during the journey should be learned from it. This is what this month teaches us to keep making the present glorious so history could become glorious too.
